Designed with simplicity and versatility in mind, IPS e.max is the ultimate in metal-free esthetics and durability offering high-strength materials for both the PRESS and the CAD/CAM technique.

No matter which technique you choose, all components are available from one manufacturer. If you prefer to work with the PRESS technique, two different types of ingots are available: IPS e.max Press, a high-strength glass-ceramic and IPS e.max ZirPress, an esthetic glass-ceramic which is pressed onto zirconium oxide in a fast and efficient procedure. For CAD/CAM applications, either the highly esthetic IPS e.max CAD ceramic glass blocks or the high-strength IPS e.max ZirCADzirconium oxide can be selected, depending on the case requirements. The nano-fluorapatite layering ceramic IPS e.max Ceram completes the all-ceramic system. This material is used to veneer all IPS e.max components, no matter if they are glass-ceramic or zirconium oxide.

Argen

Alloy development is an ongoing process at Argen and there are multiple projects in progress at any one time.  Today’s demands of aesthetics, functionality, and economy require sophisticated development techniques.  Computer programs, developed especially for dental alloy systems, vary theoretical compositions searching for the optimum combination for each application.  Thousands of possible alloys compositions can be evaluated before the best one is determined.  The alloy then undergoes functional evaluation in our dental laboratory followed by extensive field testing.  The alloy you receive has been thoroughly tested and retested to assure the highest quality material.

Pro-form Mouthguard Laminates

 

Professional and amateur athletes use Pro-form mouthguards alike because they provide the highest level of protection, retention, comfort and fit without hindering speech, breathing and most of all athletic performance. The custom-fit mouthguard goes above and beyond typical boil-and-bite mouthguards because of its superior fit and retention. In addition, Pro-form mouthguards are thin and comfortable enough while still maintaining shape and protection long after other mouthguards have worn out.

These custom-made athletic mouthguards are proven to reduce the incidence of tooth breakage by properly distributing the stress of a hard impact to the entire length of the tooth. A double layer of laminated sheet vinyl and a lingual plate imbedded behind the incisors gives the piece long-lasting durability. The mouthguard maintains its form because of the heat and pressure laminating process. The tensile strength is excellent due to the two layers of laminate while the density is maintained during the pressure laminated process for controlled, uniformed shape. Overall, the risk of injuries is lessened by about 90% when wearing a custom-made mouthguard.
